Terms of Service

1. Service Description

Statement Converter converts bank statement PDF files into Excel format. The service uses automated text extraction, OCR, and AI-assisted parsing. Results may not be 100% accurate and should be verified before use in accounting, auditing, or legal contexts.

2. Acceptable Use

• You may only upload documents you are authorized to access.
• You may not use the service for illegal purposes or to process documents belonging to others without consent.
• You may not attempt to reverse-engineer, overload, or abuse the service.

3. Accounts and Plans

• Free accounts get a limited number of conversions per month.
• Paid plans (Pro, Enterprise) are billed monthly via Stripe. You can cancel anytime from the billing portal.
• We may adjust plan limits with reasonable notice.

4. Accuracy Disclaimer

Statement Converter provides extracted data on a best-effort basis. We do not guarantee 100% accuracy of extracted transactions, amounts, or balances. You are responsible for verifying the output before relying on it for financial decisions.

5. File Handling

Uploaded files are processed temporarily and deleted after conversion unless you explicitly retain a PDF for feedback. Converted files are available for a limited time for download and are then permanently deleted.

6. Limitation of Liability

Statement Converter is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We are not liable for any damages arising from inaccurate extraction, service downtime, or data loss.

7. Changes to Terms

We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of the service means you accept the updated terms.
